Spellbook

These are the spells for the Priests, Mages and Druids
As a magic user, you pick 1 main path, this path you can follow up to level 3. At Adept you pick another path whose path you can learn up to level 2 by expert. And at Expert, you pick your last path whose path you can only learn to level 1.

Example.
For your novice level, you choose to follow the path of Fiezmes, the God of Medicine. You learn all level one spells for the Medicine path. For your adept level, you decide that Nature is a good path to add. You also learn all level two spells for the Medicine path and level one spells for the Nature path. For your expert level, you decide that Pleasure has some good spells for you. You finally learn all level three spells for the Medicine path, level two spells for the Nature path and also the level one spells for the Pleasure path.

Level 1

Bark Skin Mana: 1

For the next hour you will have 1 HP per location extra. These HP can be healed through normal means. Fire does double damage. This spell doesn’t stack.

Duration: 1 hour Effect: Self

Blind Mana: 1

The spell blinds 1 person for the duration of 5 minutes.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: 1 person

Break Location Mana: 1

You can do damage to one location for 1 HP. The location must be pointed at and must be named. Can only be an arm or a leg.

Duration: immediately Effect: an arm or a leg

Calm Person Mana: 1

The person you touch calms down. With this spell you can cure effects like Charm, Fear and Rage. Does not work on the caster themselves.

Charm Mana: 1

You can bespell someone to do something for you for 5 minutes. This cannot be something that goes against their nature. The spell ends automatically after 5 minutes, or sooner if you take damage.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: 5 meters

Detect Disease Mana: 1

You can recognize all illnesses in a body. For the duration of the spell you are also immune to these illnesses.

Duration: 1 minute Effect: Touch

Detect Invisibility Mana: 1

You can see everything and everyone within 10 meters. Everything that is invisible will become visible to the caster for the duration within the radius of 10 meters.

Duration: 1 minute Effect: 10 meters

Detect Lie Mana: 1

The victim must immediately say yes (I lied) or no (I didn’t lie) to the previous answer that was given. They do not have to explain themselves.

Detect Location Mana: 1

With this spell you get a clue from the GM about where the item or person is at that moment.

Duration: immediately Effect: Self

Detect Poison Mana: 1

By examining the body you can recognize which poison someone has caught, this happens 1 minute after the spell has been cast. You are immune to that poison for the duration of the spell.

Detect Spell Mana: 1

You can tell whether someone is under the influence of a spell, and which spell it is. The receiver must tell which spells and effects are in effect at that moment.

Detect Traps Mana: 1

Traps within 10 meters become visible for 1 minute.

Duration: 1 minute Effect: 10 meters

Detect Undead Mana: 1

All undead within 5 meters must call out ‘undead’ and their level.

Duration: immediately Effect: 5 meters

Fascinate Mana: 1

As long as the caster keeps talking the receiver must listen and can do nothing else. The spell ends if the receiver gets damage or if the caster is silent for longer than 2 seconds.

Duration: 1 hour max Effect: 1 person

Feather Fall Mana: 1

You can fall down from a great height and touch the ground softly.

Duration: immediately Effect: Self

Feign Death Mana: 1

You can pretend to be dead for up to half an hour. The spell ends if you receive damage.

Duration: 30 minutes Effect: Self

Feign Death Other Mana: 1

With their permission you can make someone appear to be dead up to half an hour. The spell ends as soon as that person takes damage or when they decide to wake up.

Duration: 30 minutes Effect: Touch

Fertility Mana: 1

The caster can make something fertile (a square meter, a person, an animal…). With this fertility seeds will grow faster and pregnancy is almost assured.

Fumble Mana: 1

You make someone drop the item that you name. They must play out that they completely lose control of the item and they must drop it. They cannot pick it back up until it has fallen unto the ground completely. This does not work on things that are fastened to the body.

Heal Location Mana: 1

When casting the spell you must point at and name 1 location. That location heals 1 HP.

Duration: immediately Effect: 1 location

Identify Mana: 1

You can recognize a person or an item. A GM will tell you more about them/it.

Duration: immediately Effect: Touch

Ignite Mana: 1

When casting this spell you point at and name what you want to ignite. The spell will generate a flame the size of a candleflame, casting the spell multiple times will increase the flame. It is a calm flame that does not automatically damage, if the ignited thing/person is rolled around in the dirt immediately there is no damage. If fire does double damage then it will do 1 damage.

Light Ball Mana: 1

You can create a source of light for 10 minutes. (Bring your own IC justifiable lamp)

Duration: 10 minutes Effect: Palm of your hand

Mark of Justice Mana: 1

The caster must touch the receiver and a mark will be created on that spot. The receiver will make a deal with the caster about what they will do (no longer lie, not steal, give themselves in). If the receiver breaks that deal the mark will disappear. The mark will always disappear after one year.

Duration: 1 year Effect: Touch

Mend Mana: 1

You can either mend an object broken by shatter or crush effects, or you can heal an undead or construct for 1 HP per location.

Mother’s Kiss Mana: 1

The receiver can generate 1 HP per location per minute for the duration of the spell.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: Touch/Kiss

Paralyze Mana: 1

You can paralyze someone for the duration, OR until they receive damage. You can still see and hear everything around you.

Duration: 1 minute Effect: Touch

Rage Mana: 1

You, or someone you touch, will fight in a blind rage in which the fighter, as in a bloodlust, does not notice pain or wounds. The fighter also receives 3 extra temporary HP per location. For 5 minutes the fighter will attack indiscriminately, first enemies, but after that friends. The effect ends after 5 minutes. If they still have positive HP they will fall down unconscious for 5 minutes, the first minute of which you cannot be woken by any means.

Remove Magic Mana: 1

You can remove the temporary effects of magic from a person or item. You can only remove magic from spells up to your own level. (to remove Expert level spells you need to be a Master) You cannot remove effects that do permanent damage.

Search Mana: 1

Within a minute you can find the right book in a cupboard or library, or the right knowledge in a book, etc. The book or knowledge does have to be present, if it’s not then you’ll get some inspiration from a GM within a minute about where that book/knowledge might be.

Shatter Mana: 1

An object of a maximum of 2 kubic meters shatters magically.

Duration: immediately Effect: 5 meters

Shield Mana: 1

For the duration of 1 hour you gain the protection of medium armour on all locations. This protection cannot be repaired and it does not stack with armour you’re already wearing.

Duration: 1 hour Effect: Self

Slow Mana: 1

You can slow someone down, for 1 minute they move as in slow motion.

Duration: 1 minute Effect: Touch

Speak to Animals Mana: 1

For an hour you can have a conversation with an animal

Duration: 1 hour Effect: 5 meters

Speak with Deceased Mana: 1

You can ask a dead person questions that can only be answered with yes or no.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: Touch

Strike Mana: 1

The receiver endures the effect of Strike: flies backward and falls to the ground and gets 1 damage.

Duration: immediately Effect: 5 meters

Level 2

Battle Healing Mana: 2

The caster will take over any unwanted physical and mental effects of their target. The target decides which effects are unwanted. The caster will experience any effect as if they had just been cast, all countdowns will start anew. All immunities and protections that the caster has will still be in effect and used if applicable.

Duration: immediately Effect: touch

Battle Shout Mana: 2

After casting, the caster shouts a battle cry. Everyone in a 10 meter radius gets a +1 on armour for 5 minutes. Take in account: also counts for enemies!

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: 10 meters

Blessing Mana: 2

Blessing protects against the first mind influencing effect.

Duration: 1 hour Effect: Self/Touch

Blind Mana: 2

The spell blinds 1 person. Keep OC safety in mind when blinded!!!

Duration: 1 minute Effect: Touch/7 meters

Borrow Mana: 2

For five minutes you can take over someone’s body by touching them. You will have to leave behind your own body somewhere safe. You walk with your victim, one hand on their shoulder, the other hand one finger in the air (the same as with invisibility). You whisper in their ear what they have to do or say. If this is longer than 5 minutes you get 1 damage per location(so a total of 5 damage) for every 5 minutes longer it takes.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: Touch

Command Mana: 2

You point at someone and give a command of a maximum of 6 words. After the incantation and the command the spell lasts for a minute. The receiver must follow the command immediately. If it’s a long task, the receiver has one minute to accomplish it. After one minute the effect stops and the receiver remembers what happened.

Duration: 1 minute Effect: Touch/7 meters

Conceal Mana: 2

Hide an object for 5 minutes. The object may not be moved. The object cannot be bigger than 1 square meter. When the object moves or is moved it becomes visible again.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: Touch

Courage Mana: 2

For the duration of the spell the receiver is immune to Fear and other mind influencing effects.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: Self/Touch

Cure Disease Mana: 2

Cures 1 disease.

Duration: immediately Effect: Touch

Cure Poison Mana: 2

Neutralizes 1 poison

Duration: immediately Effect: Touch

Destroy Undead Mana: 2+

Depending on the mana you can destroy up to a certain class of undead.

2 mana: destroy a weak undead (ex. skeletons/zombies)

4 mana: destroy a medium undead (ex. ghoul/wraith)

6 mana: destroy a strong undead (ex. banshee/vampire)

You cannot kill legendary undead with this spell.

Duration: immediately Effect: Touch/7 meters

Discern Pattern Mana: 2

This spell can only be cast after having spoken for at least 5 minutes with the receiver. After casting the spell, the caster shall get to know three things about the receiver. The receiver does not know which information the caster now knows about them.

Duration: immediately Effect: Touch

Drain Health Mana: 2

The victim loses 1 HP on the touched location, the caster gains this HP.

Duration: immediately Effect: Touch

Drain Mana Mana: 2

You can drain the mana from a person or mana container and transport it to yourself or a mana container, to a maximum of 4 mana per morning/afternoon/night. The victim cannot go below 3 mana.

Earthquake Mana: 2+

2 mana: Everyone within 5 meters falls to the ground.

4 mana: Everyone within 7 meters falls to the ground.

6 mana: Everyone within earshot falls to the ground.

This spell does not do damage.

Duration: immediately Effect: 5/7/earshot

Entangle Mana: 2

Roots from the ground or branches from the trees hold the victim for 5 minutes. Hacking through the roots/branches with a sharp implement takes one minute, other weapons do not help.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: 7 meters

Fear Mana: 2

Someone magically fears you and must try to run away from you (or start rolling over the ground in fear). In no way may they start attacking!

Duration: 1 minute Effect: Touch/7 meters

Feral Strikes Mana: 2

The receiver shall do two Strikes on the next two hits. The receiver will have to hold their weapon with two hands for this.

Duration: 1 minute Effect: Self/Touch

Fireball Mana: 2

You throw a fireball at a target within 10 meters. The fireball does 1 HP per location damage (so 5 in total)

Duration: immediately Effect: 10 meters

Fly Mana: 2

You can fly for 5 minutes. Depending on the weight you can fly above most buildings. Also depending on the weight, you can fly at the speed of the average jogger.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: Self

Forget Mana: 2

You can make someone forget the last 10 minute permanently, or one occasion of one day.

Duration: immediately Effect: 5 meters

Fumble Mana: 2

You can make someone drop what they are holding. They can only pick this up after it has completely fallen to the ground. No effect on shields fastened to the arm.

Duration: immediately Effect: 5 meters

Invisibility Mana: 2

You can become invisible for 5 minutes (one finger in the air). You can still be hit by arrows flying around or weapons or someone.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: Self

Iron Will Mana: 2

The caster is protected against the first mind-influencing effect.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: Self

Levitate Mana: 2

You can make yourself/someone else/objects levitate for 1 minute. Depending on the weight, the levitated object can be moved at a jogger’s speed.

Duration: 1 minute Effect: Self/5 meters

Mage Lock Mana: 2

A magical lock that can only be used by the caster. The mage lock can be broken in a ritual with a minimum of 3 people and a combined power of 20, or by an expert mage by spending 20 mana.

Duration: forever Effect: 5 meters

Magic Shield Mana: 2

For the duration, you receive 3 extra armour points on all locations as if you are wearing heavy armour.

Duration: 1 hour Effect: Self

Mother’s Anger Mana: 2

The caster/receiver chooses one person to protect. As long as the caster/receiver is within a 5-meter radius of this person he can do three strikes by touch or weapon. The spell ends when the caster/receiver and the protected are more than 5 meters apart. The protected has protection against mind-influencing effects for the first effect as long as the spell lasts.

Duration: 10 minutes Effect: Self/Touch

Mother’s Cooking Mana: 2

You can put spells/effects that you can do in food. Level 1 spells are free, higher level spells need to be cast extra and mana expended. Each cast works on 5 units of food.

Duration: 1 day Effect: Touch

Nice Smell Mana: 2

You can make an object/person smell nice for 1 hour. You can cover hideous smells with this. The spell also works on the undead. The caster decides what the nice smell is.

Duration: 1 hour Effect: Touch

Petrify Mana: 2

You can petrify someone or something. The petrification lasts 10 minutes, or until the magic is lifted. The spell stops you from hearing and seeing everything.

Duration: 10 minutes Effect: Touch/7 meters

Rage Mana: 2

You, or someone you touch, start fighting like a mad dog. In a kind of bloodlust, you ignore pain and wounds. You immediately get 3 extra HP on all locations. You fight everything you see for 5 minutes (enemies first, then friends as well). After 5 minutes the spell ends and you become ‘normal’ again and you lose the extra HP and have to let any extra wounds be treated. If you are not on negative HP after the rage, you go knock out for 5 minutes. The first minute you cannot be woken up by any means.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: Self/Touch/7 meters

Recognize Effect Mana: 2

You can investigate and know which deity put a curse or an effect on someone. Sometimes you can also get to know which effect it is. GM decides whether you get any extra information.

Duration: immediately Effect: Touch

Recognize Fake Mana: 2

You know whether an object is fake or the original.

Duration: immediately Effect: Touch

Reconstruct Mana: 2+

2 mana: mend a Shattered or Crushed object

4 mana: Give armour back its armour points on all locations

6 mana: Give an undead or construct back all their HP.

6 mana: Mend a large structure (building, tent, city gate…), always advice GM of this as more time or components may be necessary

Duration: immediately Effect: Touch

Search Mana: 2

Within 1 minute you can find the right book in a library or bookcase. Or you can find the right information in a document or book. The book or information does have to be present. If they are not you will get an ‘inspiration’ after 5 minutes where it can be.

Duration: 1 minute Effect: Self

Sanctuary Mana: 2

The caster must keep both hands up and keep repeating the spell, or keep touching someone and repeating the spell. You are not allowed to move. You are protected against all physical damage. You are not immune to effects like Strike (you get no damage, but you do get the effect). You are not protected against mind effects.

Duration: 1 hour maximum Effect: Self/Touch

Sleep Mana: 2

Someone falls asleep for 1 minute. This person can wake up sooner through damage or vigorous shaking for 30 seconds.

Duration: 1 minute Effect: Touch/5 meters

Teleport Mana: 2+X

You can transport yourself to another place that you know because you’ve been there and it is within your power. 5 mana per 10 kilometers (the first kilometer is free).

Duration: immediately Effect: Self

The Jury Mana: 2

Three random people are picked by the caster (caster can choose their own method, but the people have to be as objective as possible). These people are given a case or a question to which they must make a decision. After hearing the case/question they must cast a vote from 2 directly opposite choices given by the caster. (Yes/no, guilty/innocent, pro/con) The people need to give their vote within 5 minutes. It is impossible for the people not to vote. It is not necessary for the people to be able to talk, the caster will know what they have chosen.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: Self and 3 random people

Thorns Mana: 2

Thorns from the ground will attack the receiver and do 1 damage to both legs.

Duration: immediately Effect: 5 meters

Turn Undead Mana: 2+

You can subject an undead of a certain to your will

2 mana: subject a weak undead (ex. skeletons/zombies)

4 mana: subject a medium undead (ex. ghoul/wraith)

6 mana: subject a strong undead (ex. banshee/vampire)

You cannot subject legendary undead with this spell.

The undead will stay from you for 5 minutes.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: 10 meter radius

Level 3

Bigger Circle Mana: 3+

With this spell it is possible to bring someone back to life. There are a number of rules for this to work though.

  • The body must be intact
  • The soul has to be willing to return
  • The person cannot be dead longer than 12 hours
  • The spell has to be cast in a ritual taking at least half an hour
  • The ritual has to be in a circle with a radius of 10 meter
  • The mana cost is 3 plus 1 for each person in the ritual
  • There have to be at least three people doing the ritual (1 for the body, 1 for the soul, 1 for the person)
  • The spellcaster can be one of the three
  • The receiver of the spell cannot be one of the three
  • The ritual circle may not be closed
  • The character starts as a level 1 character again
  • The spell can only be cast once on any character
  • The character now has a debt to the belief that granted them life again
  • Because of the traumatic experience of dying, the character has no recollection of what had happened and this knowledge can in no way be returned to them. The only way to regain that knowledge is by roleplaying with others who already know what happened.

Duration: once, permanent Effect: Touch

Blade of Ferocity Mana: 3

The touched weapon is blessed by the Bear for 5 minutes. The one holding the weapon at that moment will get 1 extra armour point on all locations, be immune to fear and fumble and the weapon will do spirit damage. The spell also ends if that person is no longer holding the weapon.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: Touch

Borrow Mana: 3

Call of the Stars Mana: 3

Once a day, by going into a short trance, you can ask Utpine a knowledge question. It is possible that you won’t always get a direct answer.

Duration: Variable Effect: Self

Control Undead Mana: 3+

Depending on the mana you can control up to a certain class of undead.

3 mana: control a weak undead (ex. skeletons/zombies)

6 mana: control a medium undead (ex. ghoul/wraith)

9 mana: control a strong undead (ex. banshee/vampire)

You cannot kill legendary undead with this spell.

Duration: immediately Effect: Touch/7 meters

Create Explosion Mana: 3+

At a maximum distance of 10 meters you can cause something to explode. On a person it does 2 damage per location (so 10 total). Onlookers within a 2 meter radius also get 1 damage per location damage (so 5 total). An object will get heavily damaged and cannot be repaired using Mend, only after extensive reparation of multiple days can it be mended.

3 mana: explosion at 5 meters distance

5 mana: explosion at 7 meters distance

7 mana: explosion at 10 meters distance

Duration: immediately Effect: 5/7/10 meters

Create Item Mana: 3+

You can create a small (magical) item, like a ring. You will have to find the recipe for it in a library. You can enlarge the capacity by using more mana. 1 mana more is equal to 1 mana more in the item.

Duration: 1 minute Effect: Self

Create Portal Mana: 3

You can make a portal to another part of this world, to a maximum of 50 kilometers distance. The portal only goes one way and stays open for 1 minute.

Duration: 1 minute Effect: 5 meters

Create Potion Mana: 3+

You can immediately create a magical potion, if you have the recipe. Putting in more mana, will make the potion more powerful. It is possible to use the Volume spell on the created potion. Creating potions this way is at your own risk, experimentation is possible.

Duration: 1 minute Effect: Self

Create Volume Mana: 3

You can make a consumable or potion more powerful. Food and drink will become more nutritious or are doubled. Alcohol will make you drunk quicker. Potions or poisons will become more powerful.

Curse Mana: 3

You can curse someone for an hour. While cursed their connection to their Deity is severed. They cannot be divinely healed nor can they heal someone with the powers of their Deity. You can only curse the same person once a day.

Duration: 1 hour Effect: Touch

Dance Macabre Mana: 3+

You can raise someone who is dead within 24 hours of dying to an intelligent undead. This can only be done once per character. The amount of mana used dictates the level.

3 mana: lowest level zombie, loses highest level of skill mastery (including accompanying skills), can no longer wear heavy armour (if that was an option). Gains 1 HP per location.

6 mana: medium level zombie. Loses an additional level of skill mastery, can no longer wear medium armour. Gains 2 HP per location (does not stack with previous level).

9 mana: high level zombie. Loses an additional level of skill mastery. Can no longer wear armour. Gains 3 HP per location (does not stack with previous levels).

Destroy Location Mana: 3+

The named location will receive 10 Natural damage.

3 mana: Need to touch the location

5 mana: Named location up to 7 meters away.

Duration: immediately Effect: Touch, 7 meters

Dominate Animal Mana: 3

For the duration of 5 minutes you will have complete control over an animal or beastling. They will follow your commands completely, though their survival instincts will stay intact and they will not do things that cause their own deaths.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: 7 meters

Hypnotize Mana: 3+

You bring someone under hypnosis using eye contact, then you keep someone under with your voice. While under hypnosis they must follow your commands until they are 2 meters away from you or have received damage. Someone under hypnosis acts zombie like in that they have no emotions (they do not walk like a zombie!!!!). 3 mana per 15 minutes.

Duration: 15 minutes and up Effect: Touch

Illusion Mana: 3

For 5 minutes you can make someone live an illusion. The victim will consider this the truth. Only the spell Ultimate Truth can tell that someone has been under an illusion. The victim can think that they are in pain, but the spell ends when they get 1 point of damage. The victim can think and feel that their hand is cut off, but they won’t get any actual damage from it. They can even think that they died, but if they would actually die, they would wake up because the mind refuses to accept that they are actually dead.

Illusionary Wall Mana: 3

You can create a magical wall that will protect a maximum of 10 people from damage and spells. People behind the wall can go through it, but not back. Spells and weapons are stopped by the wall, both inside and outside the wall.

Duration: 1 minute Effect: 5 meters

Indestructible Mana: 3

For the duration of the spell you are immune to all weapons and damage. You are still susceptible to mind influencement and movement constrainment.

Duration: 1 minute Effect: Self

Life Regeneration Mana: 3

For the duration of the spell the recipient of the spell will regenerate 1 hitpoint per location. If the person gets deathly wounded the spell ends immediately. Someone who is deathly wounded cannot be healed with this spell.

Duration: 1 hour Effect: Touch

Luck Mana: 3 or 7

Once per hour you can make your own luck.

If you cast with 3 mana you have to flip a coin to decide which effect it will be.

If you cast with 7 mana you get to decide from:

Good luck: All damage is halved, all positive effects are twice as powerful and negative effects are halved in power or duration.

Bad luck: all damage is doubled. All negative effects are doubled in power or duration. All positive effects are halved in power or duration.

Luck is also possible in roleplay and in many cases a GM can decide in someone’s favour or not.

Mass Entangle Mana: 3+

In a cone of 20 meters high/deep roots come from the ground or branches come from the ground. Everyone inside the cone is held by the roots/branches. Victims can slash themselves free with a sword (and only a sword), this takes about a minute.

Mana cost is 3 plus 1 per meter radius.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: radius of 10 meters

Mass Invisibility Mana: 3+

You can become invisible with up to 10 people. They have to touch the caster.

Mana cost is 3 plus 1 per person becoming invisible with the caster.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: Self

Mass Strike Mana: 3+

In a radius of 20 meters around the caster every gets thrown back 5 meters and gets 1 damage to torso.

Mana cost is 3 plus 1 per 2 meters radius.

Duration: immediately Effect: Self

Mass Teleport Mana: 3+

You can teleport yourself and up to 10 people to a place that you know because you’ve been there and is within your power.

Mana cost is 3 for the first kilometer and then 2 for each extra 10 kilometers and 2 for each person teleporting with you.

Mind Melt Mana: 3

By touching someone you can read their mind. For 5 minutes you have access to their thoughts and memories.

Duration: 5 minutes Effect: Touch

Mother’s Rage Mana: 3

The caster chooses someone to protect. As long as the caster is within 5 meters of the protected they can use Strike with their hand or their weapon. The spell ends when caster and protected are more than 5 meters apart. The protected is immune to mind influencing effects during the spell.

Duration: 10 minutes Effect: 5 meters

Path of Justice Mana: 3

The receiver of the spell must promise, during a short prayer or ritual, the following things to Vatbus:

  • I shall not lie and speak only the truth
  • I shall know the laws of this place and carry them out to the best of my abilities
  • I shall serve Vatbus and carry out his faith
  • I shall serve the leader of this faith so long as he upholds the local laws
  • I shall protect them who are too weak to protect themselves
  • I shall not accept money or luxuries for my services

So long as the spell is active and the receiver keeps their promises they will be protected for the first 5 negative spells cast on them. The spells can be physical or mental and include weapon damage. The spell can only be used on the same person once per day.

Be warned: Vatbus does not accept false promises or misuse of power or finding the grey area. In all cases Vatbus will find a way to punish them harshly. This can be done directly, but it may sometimes take a little time and not be as clear.

Duration: 1 day Effect: Self/Touch  

Protection Mana: 3+

The caster must keep both hands up and keep repeating the spell, up to 5 people can touch the caster with at least one hand and receive the protection as well. You are not allowed to move. You are protected against all physical damage. You are not immune to effects like Strike (you get no damage, but you do get the effect). You are not protected against mind effects. As soon as a protected person does an offensive action, the protection ends and they cannot use its effect for at least an hour.

Mana cost is 3 plus 1 for each protected person.

Duration: limitless Effect: Self plus touch

Quick Study Mana: 3

This spell can be used in multiple ways.

  • You can give yourself, or someone else, the teacher ability for 1 lesson in 1 skill of choice.
  • You can teach twice as much students as you normally can
  • You can learn something twice as fast

For the rest the rules around teachers are the same. The spell can be cast multiple times and stacks. The spell changes nothing about the amount of xp necessary to learn a skill. The spell does not stack with other spells/skills/effects with a likewise effect.

Raise Undead Mana: 3

You can raise a character who has died back to life. The character will act friendly towards you (you being it’s ‘maker’). The character is a level one undead.

Duration: Immediately Effect: Touch/5 Meters

Reflect Mana: 3

When someone casts a spell on you, after you cast this spell, you call ‘Reflect’ and the spell reflects back on its caster. This does not work on spells that work in a cone or radius, or on Mass spells.

Duration: Immediately Effect: 7 Meters

Remove Curse Mana: 3

You can remove a curse from any Deity.

Duration: Immediately Effect: Touch/5 Meters

Repel Mana: 3

Someone cannot come near you for the duration of a minute. They need to stay at least 10 meters away from you.

Duration: 1 minute Effect: 7 Meters

Reverse Teleport Mana: 3

You can teleport one object or person to you. You do have to know exactly where that person or object is.

Duration: Immediately Effect: Self

Sanctuary Mana: 3+

The caster must keep both hands up and keep repeating the spell, up to 5 people in a circle around the caster will receive the protection. You are not allowed to move. For the duration these people will not be able to die and can be saved by healing them.

Mana cost is 3 plus 1 for each protected person.

Duration: 1 hour Effect: Self plus 5 meters radius

Scent of the Beast Mana: 3+

The caster is able to see a magical trail to the “beasts” resting ground. If the caster tracks this now visible trail they can teleport up to 3 people to the resting ground of the “beast”. If the caster has a part of the “beast” the caster can instantly teleport themselves with up to three people there.

Mana cost is 3 plus 1 for person they teleport with them.

Duration: Immediately Effect: Self/Touch

Shadow Travel Mana: 3

For 10 minutes you can travel from shadow to shadow. Each time you need to pick a new shaduw within a 10 meter radius. Please note: you are NOT invisible! You need to stand in a shaduw when casting the spell. Other effects do affect you when you travel.

Duration: 10 minutes Effect: Self/touch

Study Mana: 3+

By using this spell you can teach up to 8 students at the same time. You teach in a classroom, so every student learns the same skill. You can also use this spell to teach yourself a skill (if you have enough experience) if a master cannot be found.

Mana: 3 plus 1 for each student.

Duration: Half a day Effect: Self

Total Heal Mana: 3

You can give someone all their health points back.

Duration: immediately Effect: Touch

Transform Mana: 3

A magical disguise for 1 hour. (You have to take care of the disguise yourself)

Duration: 1 hour Effect: Self/Touch

Tree Travel Mana: 3

For 10 minutes you can travel from tree to tree. Choose a new tree each time in a 10 meter radius. You have to touch a tree when casting the spell.

Duration: 10 minutes Effect: Self/Touch

Ultimate Lie Mana: 3

For 10 minutes you can tell a lie that will be believed as the truth.

Duration: 10 minutes Effect: Self/Touch

Ultimate Truth Mana: 3

You can interview/interrogate someone for 10 minutes and this person has to answer directly with the truth. The victim is in a trance meaning that they cannot hesitate.
